A giant shark was found dead shark bitten by a bigger giant in Queensland

October 27, 2009, the swimmers at the beach Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia, celebrated local authorities to be vigilant after the discovery of the carcass of a giant white shark along the 3-meter. Sharks are found with the body's condition nearly bitten out, something that can only be done by another shark the larger size of it.

When viewed from the bite marks, local authorities estimate that bite-sized shark about 6 feet and still roam the beach. Imagine! size of the monster shark was almost 4 times normal human height.

Look how neat bite. This indicates some unfortunate shark meat is separated in a single bite, each one on the left and right.

"This clearly opened my eyes. I mean, the size of sharks that bite itself is very big." Said Jeff Krause of Queensland's fisheries department.

News about this shocking attack has made the fears of residents along the Queensland coast of Stradbroke Island, near Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast in south Brisbane. These beaches are known as a paradise for surfers.

"Whatever is attacking the shark must have been very large." Surfer said Ashton Smith who was 19 years old. "I really never heard of a giant shark that roamed the waters."

"We all became very, very careful." Mr John Gooding who operates the charter boat anglers say that indeed there are sharks everywhere, even though no data showing an increase in population.

Many crowded beaches in Queensland are protected by nets or drum lines, namely row hook tied with a buoy and placed about 450 meters from the beach. Since protection is used, there is only one deadly attack ever occurred. At that time, a student named Sarah Whiley was killed because of shark attacks at beaches Stradbrooke island three years ago.

Lately, Queensland local governments are under pressure from environmental activists to get rid of these protectors because whales and other large fish are often trapped there.

But according to the fisheries minister, Tim Mulherin, finding shark carcasses indicates the protective nets are still needed.

The Kraken

"The Kraken" first appeared in Poetry, especially Lyrical. By Alfred Tennyson. London: Effingham Wilson, Royal Exchange, Cornhill, 1830. p. 154, and Errata leaf. This text has been checked against the issue of Ricks and Buckley and Woods anthologies listed in the bibliography below.

AW Thomson explains, "The Kraken" as one of the few sonnets of Tennyson's good, although it has fifteen lines. In terms of rhyme scheme, pattern ABABCDDCEFEAAFE show that is modeled on the Petrarchan (Italian) rather than form (English) Shakespeare three quatrains and closing stanza. "Visually [Kraken] only predictable, with the point of view of another giant growth of sponges and polyps" (Thomson 28). Sestet has been extended, Thomson argues, to return to the words dominant and the opening quatrain. The reader can imagine from large polypi easier than he can best the legendary sea, which will stay in suspended animation until the Day of Judgement.

Poetry interesting picture of the Norse legend of a giant sea monster that supposedly-targeted delivery offshore Norway (and probably based on the observation that large-cuttle fish or squid), was first described by Bishop Pontoppidan in A History of Norway (1752). It was said to be able to drag down to the bottom of the ocean because even the largest ships, when soaked, it creates a strong vortex, known as Skagarag it. See Phrase and Fable Brewer.

Best Tennyson sea connections by the end of time the Bible shows the influence of John Milton's Paradise Lost, Book One, line 42: "There Leviathan / greatest living beings, inside / Stretch'd like a cape ...." The word in Hebrew means "who gather themselves together in the fold "; beings have been associated with the crocodile (Job 41:1), a sea serpent-conventional (Isaiah 27:1), and whales (Psalm 104: 26, as in the Church of England Common Prayer Book 1662) .

The third is the influence of Charles Lyell's Principles of Geology (1830-1833), who has challenged the geologic time of the Bible, as new discoveries recently dinosaur skeletons by Gideon Mantell in Tigate Forest, Sussex, in 1822. In 1825 Mantell announced the discovery of Iguanodon. The findings have destroyed the case made by Armagh's Archbishop Ussher (1581-1656) that the world, according to calculations based on the age of the Old Testament prophets, was created on Sunday, October 23 4004 BC Thus, the Tennyson poem neatly combines the Bible, literature, mythology , and natural history, balancing the scientific theory with Christian faith tradition. Ricky's insisted that Tennyson

will also read about the kraken in Scott Ministrelsy (Leiden, The Mermaid), and in TC Croker's Fairy Legends ii (1828) 64, a book that he knew and was obtained (Lincoln). Paden (p. 155) observed that the monster s T. 'only has the same name by Pontoppidan, and argued that T. associated with religious mythology GS Faber, where the snake (evil principle) cause flooding that: the sea serpent, and therefore 'the last fire' it.
